BIO
Taylor is a graduate student in the Sayes Group at Baylor University. She earned a B.S. in Biology in May 2023. She is working on a standardized and systematic method to conduct aerosol-to-lung interaction studies in a stand-alone chamber capable of simulating occupationally relevant exposure environments. The interaction studies are performed using two different models: the changes in lung surfactant fluid biophysical properties and perturbations in lung cell/tissue biochemical expressions.
